Structure
RESPECT CLG is an Irish registered charity and was formed in 1995 to help improve the lives of those with intellectual disabilities. RESPECT fundraises to improve the independence of people in the care of the Daughters of Charity. As the diagram below illustrates, the Director of RESPECT, Sr. Zoe Killeen DC, manages the fundraising for two key areas:
1. To change the living environments of residents from old style institutional care to a more independent community living environment;
2. To investigate the powerful positive changes that Assistive Technology can bring to the lives of people with Intellectual Disability and Autism.
RESPECT CLG is an Irish registered charity (CHY No. 11481) and was formed with a number of objectives, key among them is to improve the lives of those with intellectual disabilities.
RESPECT operated through RESPECT Limited which was incorporated in 1995 as a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital (public), with registered number 233893, having its registered office at St Catherine’s Provincial House, Dunardagh, Blackrock, County Dublin. Today RESPECT operates through RESPECT CLG.
RESPECT Fundraising (UK) is a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital, registered under company number 7553209), and Charity Commission No. 1145802.
